The New Bov Dylan? The Tallest Man on Earth
Posted by honeybadger512 on October 2, 2012
Kristian Matsson is a singer-songwriter from Dalarna, Sweden. Music always played a huge role in his life, but he started pursuing it when he was 15. Like all musicians, he started out playing small gigs around his town. Then he went on tour with Bon Iver as his opening act. After that he decided to go on his own tour under the stage name The Tallest Man On Earth!
Since 2006, he has released three full-length albums and two EPs. He performs under the stage name The Tallest Man on Earth. He is known for recording and producing his own records in whichever home he is currently living in and states that the connection between his voice and guitar is so strong, he rarely records them as separately tracked performances. Kristian is known for sounding a lot like Bob Dylan. When he was a kid he would sit around listening to Dylan thinking, how can i do that. As you’ll see, hes accomplished it. Here is my favorite song, The Gardener.
Another one of my favorites is Love is All
Kristian is loved for his lyricism. Like Dylan, his lyrics far outshine his voice. But personally i think his voice perfectly matches his style. He is a genuine folk artist, he has great stage presence, he has AMAZING lyrics, and he has a unique voice. Truly talented!

Saw him when he came to Austin. He reminded me of Dylan too. Of course he is his own. I got his vinyl record. Cool clicks>>>> The Wild Hunt, Burden of Tomorrow, King of Spain and Where do my Bluebird Fly.
